And, back to Karen

I have sadly left the Pico de Europa mountains in northern Spain. While a national park only 25 X 25 miles – it certainly makes up for it in height & breadth – even for someone from Washington state, it was amazing. The photo shows me at the bottom of the funicular, the top is far up to the right. Unfortunately, it was too windy to allow us to ride it, c’est la vie.

Today I spent strolling Comillas, a gorgeous architecture-filled seaside town. This “cottage” is one of Antoin Gaudi’s (think Barcelona) first efforts.

Nice to smell the salt air again!
