Chapter Two!

Karen left Ponferrada on Thursday afternoon and spent a day in Molinaseca, a Camino town not too far from our albergue. She sat by the river, dipped her toes in the water, and read a book. So relaxing!  She is now in Potes, on the north coast of Spain.  I’m sure she will fill you in on her adventures.

I returned to Madrid on Friday and flew to Dublin to meet up with our dear friends, Martin and Siobhan. I met Siobhan on my second Camino, and we have been fast friends ever since.  Martin and Siobhan have a second home in St. John’s Point, just a few miles from the town of Donegal.   Their home is on a peninsula jutting out into the Atlantic Ocean.  It’s unbelievable here, so quiet (except for the sounds of the ocean), and utterly relaxing.  Today is my first full day here, and I am loving every minute!  Take a peak at life on the peninsula.

This is the ruins of Ballysaggart Monastery, a three-minute walk from the house
The sun room is perfect for reading. And there’s the ocean again.

This is an amazing place!  More to come from Ireland!

    1. How beautiful! The house is lovely, and those views! The color of the sky makes it look colder there. What a perfect place! Have fun with your friends and enjoy the peace of this picturesque haven 💖
