My Last Day in Spain

I feel a little wistful just saying it. But I have to admit it- after almost 6 weeks, I’m running out of gas. As usual, I stuffed a lot in. The bus connections out in the countryside were tricky, and even in the bigger cities were a thing (though BlaBlaCar twice saved the day- look them up!).

Now I’m in San Sebastián on a rare gorgeous sunny day. Their beach is amazing, everything very 1920’s art deco. I tried their famous tapas scene for dinner (probably more fun with a group), but hung by the bar to watch the work of the staff. And great food in tiny doses to boot.

The piers & waterbreaks are in perfect squares!

Up early tomorrow to St. Jean de Luz France- where I’ll train to Paris from. If my Spanish is weak, my French is even more…
