Day Two

Clearly what we needed was a day to ourselves in the hostel to become a team.  Today, Wedneaday, was starting to feel “normal” as much as it can when interacting with 75 or so  people from everywhere with unexpected problems.  I spent 30 minutes fishing a Euro out of a washing machine.

And did we mention repeated sighting of mice?  Situation handled!

We really lucked out with the food situation for us hospitaleros.  The Spanish Federation pays for our groceries.  Kelly is a former B & B owner who loves to meal plan and cook!  We’ve enjoyed her cheese and tomato omelets Tuesday night.  Everyone’s eyes were rolling in their heads!  People from the Spanish Federation even joined us for omelets.

Last night, Wednesday, Kelly fixed pasta bolognaise and salad.  Amazing!

  1. Glad to hear you are bonding as a team and eating well! Does fishing a Euro out of a washing machine count as money laundering?! Robin
